Words I like.

Resplendent. Emerge. Volatile. Rectify. Acute. Mundane. Destructive. Delay. Gentrify. Spoon. Instigate. Conclude. And. Without. Nevermore. Evermore. Selective. Seductive. Sensual. Gospel. Tinged. Telegraph. ....

...
Touch. Tantalize. Torment.

Skum on Earth.

I gotta do things. I hate being interupted by my boss. I got shit. Plan. Objectives. None of which are defined by your Napolean complex you little fucking midget.

NONE.

Meanwhile, I'm listening to a great song. Fischerspooner - Odyssey - Never Win. I would also take this time to make an old school recommendation. Prodigy - The Experience - Weather Experience. A great tune. Old but great. They used computers to make it. You'll be suprised.

Found out someone close to me has the worst thing a woman could have. Well, we'll know for sure soon.

Wrestle with our familiar friend.

For some reason - I would hope - this article had a lot of impact on me this evening. Three Juveniles, One Slain in DC over 24 Hours. Seems another crime wave is washing over Washington, DC. In our White House and our streets.

Beautiful city. Pathetic infrastructure. Pathetic leadership. People dying with the Washington Monument as their last image. In this modern America we have a failure of our fellow people. Our cities are a complete abomination. Our local and federal government is inept at best and criminal in neglect most often.

I'd consider the likelihood that someone may retort with, "well, at least you have the freedom to say what you want". In theory, I suppose it's true. Even written on a piece of paper 10 inches behind glass and stowed away in a basement in my great nation's capital. So yes, those words do exist. However, my guess is that the government has become so incompetent it couldn't even enforce a change. It's having a jolly old time kidnapping people from Airports but when it comes to actually persecuting something that is accurate and of substance. Impossible.

This is not my America. No way. My son's who sleep soundly will be given dreams, perhaps fed honestly, that they will be able to do anything they set their minds to in this great country. Perhaps even be President. The American dream is almost a mockery of itself at this point and he'll have to live through the crashing reality that it'll be even more flimsy when he is old enough to pursue it.

So far what I'm attempting to acheive for my life is a 'safe and sound' life. Good I suppose - as fucking inspiring as milk-wheat toast. America is all about the dull, long, boring and incompentent existance. Give me my vinyl sided cookie cutter home on .25 acres with a fence and no culture for 200 miles. Let's have my 2.5 kids and drive to work to have meaningless conversations. To share nothing. To get nothing. To make the rich male even richer. Watch as their salaries increase, their bonuses increase and the hard working labor vats get flushed from the system to bring up the bottom line. It's not a charity - it's a fucking souless grind.

We've all heard this same pity party before. Like a tape on play-repeat. It's not because it doesn't hold some truth. In fact, if you sit down and think about it, you'll only get depressed. So we don't. We don't think about it. We don't address it. We watch ultra violence on television. Ban pornography because it makes us cum. A terrible thing. Instead we'd rather be hiding our children from our own culture. A futile effort it appears as they shoot each other, stab each other, beat each other up. So we create new schools, only to find the same problem. Drugs in catholic schools, cheaters in Harvard, sluts in charter schools. It's not our fault - it's the younger generation. Their fault. Heck, they even have shitty music. My generation has the best music ever. It has nothing to do with us. We set no example.

Kick back. Relax. It's modern. It's America. It's our lives. Don't do anything. Ever.

The Ambiguously Gay Duo!

It's not just that it's about time that it came but that it actually came back proper. While things always repeat there are also firsts. The first in this case is that I'm going to imbed a video. This, of course, make me an enabled human, a true force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, any bravado that I could have will be immediately erased once you watch the video. I will, however, stand by it. It's good. And I like it. Bugger off the lot of you for otherwise!

I fear my inevitability

Now Listening: Dubs - Toujours le Meme Film.

Recommended? Yes

So I am going to start adding some music recommendations in here. Not sure the format but let's start with that. This album is fantastic... I then followed up my discovery by discussing this with the cats at TSC. This is what I said:

I find the whole thing rather refreshing though the production values are up just a smidge too high.

I really like Operation W and The Chauffer.

One downside is the album supposed to be a 'sound track'.. Soundtrack to a movie that doesn't exist. So it reuses specific elements and beats to draw in particular characters or recurring events. But over all - this thing is just a real nice turn around.

Not to mention I'm terrified of becoming my parents. Which isn't hard to do - they're terrible people. They still listen to the same shit they did when they were kids. 60s and some 70s. Terrifying and everyone from that generation does that exact same thing. Even more frightening.

So when I do my math. Which is poor. I come up with this:

Pig released their first album in 88 or so. I started listening to them around 90. So they were already a couple years old. When I spin that disc i'm listening to music that is 18 years old.

So in 1988, 18 years previous was 1970. What was happening in 1970? Pink Floyd was queued up to release Meddle in the following year, Elvis's best years were behind him and the Beatles were calling it quits. So when I was listening to any of those bands in 1988 it was REALLY ancient history. Not just the events themselves but the entire genre, style or even relevance. Enter Pig. You tell me?

Give me something fresh - not industrial because that shit is classic rock.

Additional music to listen to:

Peaches - The Teaches of Peaches, Song, AA XXX
Squarepusher - Welcome to Europe, Song, Welcome to Europe
Fischerspooner - Odyssey, Song, We need a War (with David Byrne)
Cut Chemist - The Audience's Listening, Whole Album (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)

Enjoy - comment - toodles.
