1 Month - 1 Battle

Another month starts to pass. That means I recently had my collision with my bizarre little napoleonic boss. The only faith I have there is a God is that his pretty little home, all 8000 sq. ft., is collapsing with the market. Lose millions!

It's a cruel and unusual world. As my personality slips into oblivion and my emotions sit further back on the bus than allowed by the Civil Rights act I occasionally find reason to lose faith. The latest vehicle of despair is the beautiful article by Chris Rose for the Times-Picayune called Hell and Back. A tender description of one's slipping into the dark morass of depression.

As futile as your existance really is there is always more examples of it such as Voting. Voting is this process when you take your 1 in a million opinion and play puppet in the facade called Democracy. The downside is that they'll lose your vote but on the upside you can at least you can say you tried.

So in the spirit of trying, trying times and trying to win, please, Vote. Vote because your kids will see it even more corrupt and pathetic than it is today and we're doing it in their Golden Age. Though, to be honest, it's more like a Pewter Age. Our parents, by their egotistic admission, know, FOR FACT, their music was better, their politics better and their schools safer. Maybe so... but I got GW Bush saying 'The Google'.

You had JFK? Well - screw you and your excuses. I have your generation in full effect. Woodstock? Protests? Your generation gave us:

GW Bush. Fragle Rock. Shirt Tails. Mega Corporations. The latch key kid. Divorce Rates. Crack. AIDS. Studio 54. Spoiled brats. Absentee Parents. And a fucking derth of pathetic leadership and a culture where you blame the youth. Our fault for your faults.

A cruel and unsual world indeed.
